Well, yes, test management is my job title. However, what I like doing is ...nosing around. Like now.
ReplyDeleteBefore I unleash my curiosity, though, I would like mention that users may encounter issues when trying to post comments when using iPad. I am using my notebook now.
Oh! One more usability related question. Sorry if my question is silly - I am not used to blogs.
ReplyDeleteCurrently, I see one general link to comments. Would it be possible to keep this "general" one but also enable comments for each of the paintings, individually?
This is my very first blog. But as much as I know, the blog provider does not offer this resource. Have a page for each painting could be a solution... I'll verify.
DeleteMy favourites are "Cactus a Noite" and "Jardim de Cactus". Can't make my mind up about which one :-). If one day you decided to sell them, please let me know.
ReplyDeleteNow, I am very curious about "A Pimenteira". What would you say to me if I told you that first thing I thought when I saw the painting was "She is past her prime time... and yet, he painted her".
P.S. Signs of age is something I am dealing with (and so far, coping) on a daily basis.
Actually, the real "pimenteira" (the model) is almost dead here at home. But she has peppers and flowers. It looks unbelivable, it's as the last breath. I had to do a "makeup" for the painting to make she looks bigger and better.

DeleteWhen I see your lovely new paintings, I always wonder what "O Balanco Vermelho III" would be like. Any chances that it happens sometime in future? I am still fascinated by the first balanco vermelho.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking about it. The process from concecption to the execution, most of the times, is more difficult, and long I'd like it would be. I'm expecting the number III, too.
Delete"O Banco do Bambuzal" makes me think of the road Rio-Santos (between the states border and Paraty). Except, there it is "manguezal" not "bambuzal".
ReplyDeleteLast one today, I swear. Not to pressure, just a comment, I swear again. I wonder what would catch your eye, if you were painting in 1) Spain 2) France 3) The Netherlands 4) Belgium. I explain. One of my hobbies is "people watching" and I find these countries very entertaining. I wonder what oyou would find interesting enough to paint around here.

ReplyDeleteLove them all! Arvores Floridas and O balanço vermelho (I and II) caught my attention, specially due to the colors and the trees - trees are special - size, flowers, fruits and roots
"Arvores Floridas", "Os Bancos do Lago" e "`O `Predio da Estrada" make a wonderful trio.
ReplyDeleteOn a similar way, "Cactus a `noite", "Jardim de Cactus", "A Pimenteira" e "Flores de Maio na Escada" podem fazer um set.
Apologies for the mundane approach like "sets`'. I am obsessed with matching and sets these days.
By the way, I privately baptized `'O Predio da Estrada" as "O Casarao da Estrada".
"O Prédio da Estrada" or "O Casarão da Estrada"... In fact I was in doubt between these names when I gave the name. For some reason, I thought: "prédio" seems to be easier to understand/translate in any language. For the records, my sisters are calling "Casarão" too.

DeleteI like them all (Os Bancos do Lago). Have been trying to decide which is my favourite but just can't choose one.
ReplyDeleteInspired by your art, we went today to the Zurich Kunstmuseum for more. We enjoyed ourselves.
Em "A Porta da Casa" procurei, nas áreas verdes, fazer pinceladas rápidas, tendo em vista que as folhas da trepadeira em questão são +/- do tamanho de cada cacho de flor. Não sei se isso será perceptível na foto.
ReplyDeleteAdoreeeei todos também! "A porta da casa" ficou maravilhoso, bem colorido e alegre. Acho que as flores do tamanho das folhas é que chamaram atenção mesmo. Difícil saber qual o favorito, todos tem um toque especial. O jardim de cactos foi um que gostei bastante... agora não sei qual o melhor....
ReplyDeleteA série (set) O Ipê Roxo I, II, III, e IV é inspirada em um ipê que existe em uma pequena praça por onde passo com frequência. Tive a oportunidade de observar que mesmo quando ele estava majestoso em sua floração as pessoas passavam e nem notavam. Muito triste. Daí que no "O Ipê Roxo IV", aparecem ao fundo alguns veículos (quase infantis) completamente pretos, sem janelas...
